Assistant Professor - University of the Fraser Valley, Biology Department

Dina Navon

My research focuses on the intersection between genes, traits, development, and the environment. I examine the ways these key components of living organisms interact to produce and maintain the stunning array of biodiversity we see in the world. I am an avid science communicator, with a passion for public outreach ranging from informal interactions on Facebook and Twitter to more formal blog posts. As a graduate student, I ran several science communication workshops aimed at helping other scientists disseminate their research to the public. My other interests include skiing, sailing, swimming, and camping. I am actively seeking undergraduate student collaborators - feel free to email me for more info!
